In order to get permits for your steel building you will need to prove a few things like -

To prove that the building is sound you must get a certified, stamped engineered blueprint from the company you plan on buying the building from. The signature must be from a licensed engineer who is licensed in the state where your building will be located. When talking with your salesman specify the building state to him or her.

A lot of times in zoning in suburban and city areas is based on appearance and size of the building. The local zoning officials for your area will generally restrict the overall size of your building and the outside appearance of the building including its shape. Typically the odd shaped buildings are harder to get permits for.
